Bridges to Prosperity Uchu Uchu Suspended Footbridge Bolivia
| Partnering with the non-profit entity, Bridges to Prosperity, Kraemer built a suspended footbridge over the Uchu Uchu River in the Bolivian Andes Mountain Range. Sitting at 11,300 feet in elevation, this bridge provides safe, year round access to necessary services across the river for more than 2,000 members of the Uchu Uchu, Arrumiri, Villa Bolivar, Loco Loconi, Lapiani, Jankoaje, and Tancami communities. The finished suspended bridge is comprised of timber decking on steel crossbeams, 29mm cables, and is 67m long. |
